The eSurfing Cloud VBS offers backup services, enabling you to restore your data or create a disk in case of disk faults, accidental data deletion, hacker attacks, etc. It ensures the highest level of data security. The usage process of VBS is as follows:

First, you need to make the following preparations: register an eSurfing Cloud account and top up your account. For details, see Making Preparations.
Before backing up, you need to purchase a repository to facilitate subsequent backup creation. For the steps to create a repository, see Creating a Repository.
You can select EVS resources when creating a repository and back up them immediately or set automatic backups. If no EVS resource is selected, it means that you choose only to create a repository. After the repository is created, you can back up the EVS resources. The subsequently generated backups will be placed in the repository. For the steps to create a backup, please see Creating an EVS Backup.
After the backup is successfully created, you can use the backup to restore your data in the EVS according to your actual business needs. For the steps to restore data, please see Using Backups to Restore the Source EVS and Using Backups to Create an EVS.
