Create a Redis Custom Policy

2024-05-24 08:02:22

If the system's preset Redis permissions do not meet your authorization requirements, you can create custom policies. For details about the supported actions that can be added to a custom policy, see Managing Permissions of Master Accounts, Sub-accounts and IAM.

Currently, eSurfing Cloud supports creating policies with visual editor and JSON. For details, see Identity and Access Management (IAM) - User Guide - Permission Management - Custom Policy - Creating a Custom Policy.

Visual editor: You can use the visual editor to create a custom policy. This does not require knowledge of JSON syntax, and you can automatically generate a policy by selecting cloud services, operations, resources, conditions, and other policy content in the navigation bar.

JSON: You can use JSON to create a custom policy. You can edit the policy content according to your specific needs based on an existing policy. You can also write the policy content in JSON format directly in the edit box.

Redis Custom Policy Example

The following example policy indicates that only IAM users are allowed to start and stop the Redis instance.
