This section describes how to set auto backup policies in the eSurfing Cloud DCS Redis control center. After the settings are completed, the system backs up the instance data regularly based on the auto backup policy you set.
Auto Backup is disabled by default. If you need to enable auto backup, see the steps described in this chapter.
Before You Begin
A DCS Redis instance that has been successfully created and is running.
Procedure
1. Log in to the Redis management console.
2. Select the region of the instance in the upper left corner of the management console.
3. On the instance list page, click the target instance name to go to the instance details page.
4. In the instance node list, click the Redis cluster name to go to the Redis cluster management page.
5. Select the Backup Management tab above to go to the backup management operation page.
6. Click the Backup Policy button on the page to select the backup cycle and backup period.
7. After setting the backup parameters, click save to complete the backup policy settings. The backup policy applies immediately.
8. The instance will automatically perform backup operations during the backup period you set, and you can view the backup records on this page.

Backup Cycle | Schedule a day or days of a week for backup. Please set the backup frequency appropriately according to your actual business. |
Backup Period | Time period in which automatic backup is under execution. Note: Instance backup takes about 5-30 minutes depending on the size of the data to be backed up. To minimize the impact of backup on your business, it is recommended that data be backed up during off-peak hours. |
