Creating and Managing an Account

2024-05-24 08:51:36

The Redis management console supports creating multiple Redis accounts and granting corresponding permissions. This helps you flexibly manage Redis instances, minimize misoperations, and effectively improve data security. Currently supported permission controls include read-write permission and read-only permission.

Read-only: Permission to read data, but not to modify data.

Read-write: Permission to both read and write data.

Before You Begin

This operation can only be performed when the DCS Redis instance is in the Running state.

Only cluster architecture instances support creating and managing accounts.

Procedure

1. Log in to the Redis management console.

2. Select the region of the instance in the upper left corner of the management console.

3. On the instance list page, click the target instance name to go to the instance details page.

4. In the instance account management module, click the Add Account button.

5. In the new account dialog box, set the relevant information to create a Redis account; click save to create the account.

6. After the account is created, you can reset the password, modify its permissions, and delete the account.
