Overview
Users using the pay-as-you-go billing mode can perform the Switch to Subscription-based operation on the instance to change the instance billing mode to an annual/monthly subscription.
Users using the subscription-based billing mode can Switch to Pay-as-you-go for their instances, and when the subscription has expired, the pay-as-you-go billing mode resumes.
Switching from Pay-as-you-go to Subscription-based
Before You Begin
l Only customers who have passed real-name authentication can Switch the billing mode from subscription-based to pay-as-you-go.
l The current billing mode of the Redis instance is Pay-as-you-go.
Procedure
1. Log in to the Redis management console.
2. Select the region of the instance in the upper left corner of the management console.
3. On the instance list page, select the instance in the pay-as-you-go mode and click More>Switch to Subscription-based to jump to the subscription-based billing page.
4. Select Subscription Duration and whether to Auto-renew and click Pay.
5. Finish the payment according to the interface prompts and complete the operation.
Switching from Subscription-based to Pay-as-you-go
Before You Begin
l Only customers who have passed real-name authentication can Switch the billing mode from subscription-based to pay-as-you-go.
l The current billing mode of the Redis instance is Subscription-based.
l On the renewal management page, only Redis instances whose resource state is In Use can be switched to pay-as-you-go upon expiration.
l In the subscription-based billing mode, if the resource has not expired, you can switch it to pay-as-you-go, but the pay-as-you-go billing mode only takes effect when the current subscription duration ends.
Procedure
1. Log in to the Redis management console.
2. Select the region of the instance in the upper left corner of the management console.
3. On the instance list page, select the instance in the subscription-based mode and click More>Switch to Pay-as-you-go to jump to the renewal management page.
4. Go to the renewal management page, select the instance that needs to be switched to pay-as-you-go, and click Switch to Pay-as-you-go upon Expiration.
5. After checking the relevant information about the price change, click Switch to Pay-as-you-go to complete the operation.
