Backup and Restoration

2024-05-24 10:47:52

The Redis management console supports restoring backup data. You can restore backed up data to a Redis DCS instance.

Before You Begin

This operation can only be performed when the DCS Redis instance is in the Running state.

A backup task has been run to back up data in the instance to be restored and the backup state is Success.

Procedure

1. Log in to the  Redis management console.

2. Select the region of the instance in the upper left corner of the management console.

3. On the instance list page, click the target instance name to go to the instance details page.

4. In the instance node list, click the Redis cluster name to go to the Redis cluster management page.

5. Select the Backup Management tab above to go to the backup management operation page. The page displays a list of historical backup data.

6. Select the data that has been backed up, click the Restore button on the right side, and confirm to start the instance restoration task.

7. When the restoration status is Success, it means the restoration is successful.

Description

Instance restoration takes 1-30 minutes.

While being restored, DCS instances do not accept data operation requests from clients temporarily. During this process, the existing data is being overwritten by the backup data
