Procedure
1. Log in to the Redis management console.
2. Select the region of the instance in the upper left corner of the management console.
3. On the instance list page, click the 
button in the upper right corner to enter the instance details page.
Table Parameter Description
Parameter | Description |
Billing Mode | There are two billing modes, namely annual/monthly subscription and pay-as-you-go billing. See Billing Modes. |
Version Type | There are two versions: basic and enhanced. |
Instance Type | Instance types include active/standby, stand-alone, active/standby cluster, and single-node cluster. For specific instance type descriptions, see Instance Types. |
Version No. | The version number of the instance kernel. |
Active AZ | The availability zone where the active node is located. |
Standby AZ | The availability zone where the standby node is located. |
Specification | Memory size of DCS shards. |
ECS Type | ECS type information, such as general-purpose ECS. |
Storage Type | Storage type of the instance, including high I/O, ultra-high I/O, etc. |
Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) | Click the drop-down box to select a VPC that has been created. Click the refresh button on the right side to refresh the drop-down box. Click Create VPC to enter the VPC management page to add a new VPC. |
Subnet | Click the drop-down box to select a subnet that has been created under the current VPC. Click the refresh button on the right side to refresh the drop-down box. Click Create Subnet to go to the subnet page to add a new subnet. |
Security Group | Click the security group drop-down box to select a security group that has been created under the current VPC. The system will create a security group for every user by default. A security group is a logical group that provides access policies for ECSs in the same VPC that have the same security protection requirements and trust each other. |
Instance Name | The system generates a default DCS instance name (which can be modified by the user). |
Password | Password of the cache instance. |
Confirming the Password | Confirm the password again, which should be consistent with the above password. |
Subscription Duration | The subscription duration of the instance. It takes effect when the billing mode is an annual/monthly subscription. |
Auto-renewal | Check the box after auto-renewal to automatically renew the subscription when your annual/monthly subscription expires. This takes effect when the billing mode is an annual/monthly subscription. |
