The Redis management console supports resetting instance passwords; the new password takes effect immediately on the server without requiring a restart; the client must reconnect to the server using the new password.
Before You Begin
A DCS instance in the Running state.
Procedure
1. Log in to the Redis management console.
2. Select the region of the instance in the upper left corner of the management console.
3. On the instance list page, select the operation column where the instance is located and click the Reset Password button and the window for resetting instance password will pop up. Alternatively, on the instance list page, click the target instance name to go to instance details management page, and click the Reset Password button and the window for resetting instance password will pop up.
4. Enter and confirm the password on the instance password resetting page, and click the Save button to complete the operation.
Description
The password must contain any three types of digits, uppercase letters, lowercase letters and special characters (except #, $ and space), 8 to 26 characters in length.
Please manage your password properly. The system cannot retrieve the password you set.
