Binding an EIP

2024-05-24 08:46:59

DCS Redis Version provides a private network connection address by default. If you need to connect to the Redis instance over the Internet, please apply for an EIP address first. For specific operations, see Applying for an EIP.

Before You Begin

This operation can only be performed when the DCS Redis instance is in the Running state.

An EIP address.

Procedure

1. Log in to the Redis management console.

2. Select the region of the instance in the upper left corner of the management console.

3. On the instance list page, click the target instance name to go to the instance details management page.

4. Open the basic information page of the DCS Redis instance, and click Bind behind the EIP.

Note: If there is no button for binding an EIP address, it indicates that the instance specification does not support binding an EIP address.

5. Open the new EIP list page, select the EIP to be bound, and click OK to complete.

6. After binding an EIP, you need to wait for a while until the EIP address appears on the instance basic information page, which indicates that the EIP has been bound successfully.

7. If you need to connect to your Redis instance over the Internet, see  Connect to Redis Instance over the Internet.
