How the fee is deducted when I unsubscribe from a physical server?
When you unsubscribe from a physical server, the fee to deduct varies depending on the scenarios. The unsubscription methods include 7-day full refund, non-full refund, and unconditional refund. The refund amount will be returned to the account balance.
For more information on unsubscription rules, see Billing Center - Unsubscription Rules.
How to unfreeze an expired and frozen physical server?
When a physical server resource is frozen, users can renew the subscription to unfreeze the resource and resume the normal operation of the physical server.
When a physical server resource expires and is not renewed, it automatically enters the retention period and the resource is frozen. You cannot access and use the resource. For example, you cannot download data on the physical server. You will be alerted via SMS or email. We recommend that you manually renew the subscription as soon as possible. If you do not renew the subscription within the retention period, the physical server resource will be released, and the resources (such as elastic IP addresses and EVS) in the same order will also be released.
A physical server in monthly subscription mode that has expired can be renewed but cannot be unsubscribed. A physical server in monthly subscription that has not expired can be unsubscribed.
· When resources are frozen upon expiration: The resources are restricted from access and use, interrupting your business.
· When resources are renewed and unfrozen: The resources are unrestricted, but you must check and restore your business on your own.
How long will the physical server be released after unsubscription?
After a physical server is unsubscribed, resources will be frozen and retained for 15 days and released 15 days later.
During this period, the business is interrupted and users cannot perform any other operations. Please understand these before unsubscribing from the physical server.
If you do not want to wait for the 15-day freeze period, you can initiate an immediate release in the console. For more information, see User Guide - Managing Physical Servers - Release.
How long will resources be released when a physical server expires?
When a physical server resource is about to expire, eSurfing Cloud will notify you by email notifications. If you want to continue to use the resource, you can contact your account manager to renew your subscription or renew your subscription in the console by yourself.
If you do not renew the subscription within the retention period, eSurfing Cloud will send you a resource expiration reminder email and release the physical server resource later.
