Scenario
If your business is interrupted or terminated and the physical server is no longer needed, release the physical server to avoid further costs.
Note:
You must unsubscribe from physical servers purchased as a yearly/monthly package to release them.
Operation Steps
1. Log in to the console.
2. Click 
at the top of the console, and select a region. In this topic, Hong Kong 2 is selected.
3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Service List, and go to Computing > Physical Server.
4. Locate the Operation column in the row where the target physical server resides, and move the mouse pointer to go to More > Unsubscribe.
5. Check that the physical server information is correct in the Unsubscribe pop-up window, and click OK to release the physical server.
Note:
Before applying for unsubscription, please back up the data on the server.
Release Now
Physical servers you voluntarily unsubscribe from before April 26, 2024 will not be displayed in the console. Since April 26, 2024, a physical server instance in a yearly/monthly billing mode can be viewed in the console upon your unsubscription. Related computing resources are retained and will be automatically released after 15 days of retention. A physical server in the "unsubscribing from subscription-based billing" or "unsubscribed from subscription-based billing" status will normally occupy the quota but will not be charged. You can click More - Release Now to release the computing resource in advance. After the release is complete, the quota will not be occupied. If you want to restore the physical server in the current status, submit a ticket to contact the service support.
