Login Mode

Log in to a Linux-based physical server using one of the following ways:

Ÿ   SSH login: Only applicable to Linux-based physical servers. You can use a command prompt tool or remote login tool (for example, PuTTY) to log in to a physical server. In this case, the physical server must be bound to EIP.

Ÿ   VNC login: We recommend that a physical server not bound to an elastic IP be directly logged in to by remote login in the console.

Note: The login user is root by default for Linux-based physical servers.

Before You Begin

l   The remote login feature uses the custom port configured in the system for service access. Ensure that the port you want to use is not blocked by the firewall. For example, if the remote login link is xxx:3389, ensure that port 3389 is not blocked by the firewall.

l   If the client operating system uses a local proxy and the firewall port for the proxy cannot be configured, disable the proxy mode before using the remote login feature.

Operation Steps

1.         Log in to the console.

2.         Click  at the top of the console, and select a region. In this topic, Hong Kong 2 is selected.

3.         In the left-side navigation pane, click Service List, and go to Computing > Physical Server.

4.         Move the mouse pointer to the Operation column corresponding to the target physical server, and select Remote Login.

5.         On the command line interface, press Enter, type "root" as username and the login password set when you create the physical server, and press Enter again to complete the login sequence. The following figure shows the interface when you log in successfully:
