In the console, switch to your desired resource pool, and select Physical Server Service and create an elastic bare metal instance.
Note:
Physical server resources must be created in the same zone and availability zone as cloud network resources and EVS resources.
Click Create Physical Server, configure basic information, select instance specification and OS image, and configure EVS. To install Oracle RAC on a separate hard disk, configure a separate data disk. If no separate installation drive is configured, the system disk space must be greater than 100 GB.
Configure the network, select the VPC and security group you created, select the public and private subnets you created as NIC, specify the planned static IP address, set the account and tenancy term, and purchase and create instances.
Create other instances in the cluster using the same method. For more information, see Physical Server User Guide - Create Physical Server.
Binding Shared EVS Disks to Elastic Bare Metal Instances
After creating elastic bare metal instances, map the shared EVS disks created in the previous step to each instance in the cluster.
Note: The shared EVS disks must be mounted to each instance in sequence to ensure that the drive letter names of the shared EVS disks on each instance are the same.
Binding Virtual IP Addresses to Elastic Bare Metal Instances
After creating elastic bare metal instances, bind virtual IP addresses created in the Creating Virtual IP step to elastic bare metal instances.
