This topic describes how to unsubscribe from data disks in yearly/monthly subscription mode.

Scenario

The system disk must be unsubscribed together with the cloud server. This topic describes how to unsubscribe from data disks in yearly/monthly subscription mode. You may unsubscribe from data disks in yearly/monthly subscription mode in the following scenarios:

Unsubscription Scenario	Unsubscription Description
Non-shared data disks purchased with the cloud server in yearly/monthly subscription mode	Unsubscribe from the cloud server in yearly/monthly subscription mode in the ECS console. The EVS purchased with the cloud server will also be unsubscribed
Non-shared data disks separately purchased in yearly/monthly subscription mode	Unsubscribe from an EVS in the EVS console. You must detach the EVS before unsubscribing
Shared data disks separately purchased in yearly/monthly subscription mode	Unsubscribe from an EVS in EVS console. You must detach all attach points before unsubscribing

Restriction and Limitations

Only EVS disks that are not mounted can be deleted.
Before unsubscribing from an EVS, delete all snapshots of the EVS or set the EVS release policy to Release all snapshots with EVS.
An EVS purchased with an elastic cloud server cannot be unsubscribed separately.

Operation Steps

Log in to the console.
Click in the upper left corner of the console and select a region. In this topic, China (Hong Kong 2) is selected.
Select Storage > Elastic Volume Server to go to the EVS home page.
In the Elastic Volume Service List , select More > Unsubscribe in the Operation column in the row that contains the specified EVS.
In the Delete Disk dialog box that appears, confirm the information of the disk to unsubscribe and click OK. In addition, in this window, you can set the EVS release policy to Release all snapshots with EVS . In this case, all snapshots of the EVS will be deleted when you unsubscribe from the EVS.

Note:
In the Unsubscribe/Delete EVS window, Release all snapshots with EVS can only be changed from "Unchecked" to "Checked".
Go to the Unsubscription Management/Application page, confirm the product information and check "Select Refund Reason" and then check "I have confirmed the amount of this subscription cancellation and related costs" and click Unsubscribe.
In the Prompting window, you will be prompted with a message reading "Submit successfully". Click Check Order to check the unsubscription progress.
The unsubscription is successful if you can view the details about the order unsubscription.
