You can manually unsubscribe an instance to release resources, depending on your business needs. Make sure that you back up your data before applying for unsubscribing the RDS-PostgreSQL instance.
Constraints and Restrictions
• If you unsubscribe from the RDS-PostgreSQL instance, the period of less than a full month is billed based on the actual number of days within the current month.
• After you unsubscribe from the RDS-PostgreSQL instance, the instance will be frozen within 15 days. If the database is not renewed after the freezing period, the instance will be deleted.
Procedure
1. Log in to the eSurfing Cloud Portal.
3. Select the resource pool region in the upper left corner. For details of resource pools supported by RDS-PostgreSQL, see Function Loading Description.
4. Select Database > RDS-PostgreSQL and go to the RDS-PostgreSQL Console.
5. On the List of Instances page, select the specified instance, click More, and select Unsubscribe. Then, go to the Unsubscribe page to unsubscribe the instance.
Note
Unsubscribing an RDS-PostgreSQL instance will result in the data on the instance being deleted. In addition, all backups are deleted synchronously and resources are recycled, which cannot be recovered. Make sure that you back up your data before applying for unsubscription.
