Application Scenarios
If the disk space of the original database instance is insufficient, you can apply for expanding the disk space according to the actual needs of the database business.
When the disk utilization rate in the Resource Monitoring of the instance on the Console exceeds 95%, it is recommended to apply for disk expansion. This helps maintain disk utilization below 85% to prevent potential issues such as full disk due to excessive data volume in the database.
Constraints and Restrictions
• Make sure that your account balance is greater than 0 yuan before expanding disk space.
• The disk space of the primary instance after disk expansion cannot be larger than the backup disk capacity.
• There is no limit to the number of expansions.
• The disk capacity can only be expanded but not reduced.
