Application Scenarios
After an instance is created, you can delete the database according to business needs.
Constraints and Restrictions
This operation cannot be performed if the instance status is abnormal (The Master is unavailable, restored, etc.).
Procedure
1. Log in to the eSurfing Cloud Portal.
2. Click Console and select the corresponding resource pool, such as East China 1.
3. Select RDS-PostgreSQL and click it to go to the Console Administration page.
4. Select the corresponding instance on the List of Instances page, click the Manage button, and enter the Instance Details page.
5. Select the Database Management page.
6. Find the database you want to delete and click the Delete button in the Operation column.
7. In the pop-up confirmation box, enter the root user password for confirmation and click OK.

• The database deletion is irrevocable. If you have enabled automatic backup and WAL log backup functions, you can restore the instance data to the status before deletion by using the on-time restoration function. For details, see Restoring a Database Instance to a Specified Time Point.
