Changing from Payment by Volume to Annual/Monthly Package
Application Scenarios
RDS-PostgreSQL supports switching your instance billing mode from Payment by Volume to Annual/Monthly Package. With this feature, you can flexibly adjust the RDS-PostgreSQL billing mode.
Precautions
• Make sure that your account balance must be greater than 0 yuan before switching the billing mode.
• If there is an unpaid order by switching to Annual/Monthly Package mode in the RDS-PostgreSQL instance you are operating, you must first complete the payment for the unpaid order. Otherwise, when you perform an expansion or series upgrade, the system will prompt that a transit order exists. You can pay or cancel the corresponding order by switching to Annual/Monthly Package mode on the order interface. After that, you can continue other related operations.
Procedure
1. Log in to the eSurfing Cloud Portal.
2. Click Console and select the corresponding resource pool, such as East China 1.
3. Select RDS-PostgreSQL and click it to go to the Console Administration page.
4. On the List of Instances page, find the corresponding instance information from the Instance Name/Instance ID in the first column of the List of Instances, and click More > Switch to Annual/Monthly Package in the Operation column. Alternatively, you can click the name of the corresponding instance to go to the Instance Details page. In Basic Information on this page, click Switch to Annual/Monthly Package under Billing Mode.
5. On the Switching Payment by Volume to Package Cycle page, select the renewal time and click OK to submit the order.
6. After completing the order payment, wait for the system to process. On the Basic Information on the Instance Details page, Billing Mode is Package Cycle and Expiration Time is the expired period after renewal.
Switching Annual/Monthly Package to Payment by Volume

RDS-PostgreSQL supports switching your database instance billing mode from Annual/Monthly Package to Payment by Volume. With this feature, you can flexibly adjust the RDS-PostgreSQL billing mode.
Precautions
• Make sure that your account balance must be greater than 0 yuan before switching the billing mode.
Procedure
1. Log in to the eSurfing Cloud Portal.
2. Click Console and select the corresponding resource pool, such as East China 1.
3. Select RDS-PostgreSQL and click it to go to the Console Administration page.
4. On the List of Instances page, select the first column Instance Name/Instance ID in the first column of List of Instances, click More, and select Switch to Payment by Volume. Alternatively, you can click the specified instance to go to the Instance Details page. In Basic Information on this page, click Switch to Payment by Volume under Billing Mode.
5. On the Switching Package Cycle to Payment by Volume page, select the renewal time and click OK to submit the order.
6. Wait for the system to process. When the package cycle of your RDS-PostgreSQL instance expires, you can check that the corresponding Billing Mode is Payment by Volume in Basic Information on the Instance Details page.
