Database Audit Settings

Application Scenarios

You can see the SQL details through the database audit feature of RDS-PostgreSQL for periodic audits of SQL.

²  Note

             Enabling the audit function may deplete the performance of the instance.

             Database audit is retained for one day by default and can be retained for up to three days.

             Database audit is disabled by default.

             After data audit is enabled, you can see the audit logs after 5-10 minutes.

             Expired logs are cleared once a day.

             The interval between query start time and end time cannot be greater than 30 days.

Procedure
Enabling Database Audits

1.           Log in to the eSurfing Cloud official website.

2.           Click Console in the upper right corner to jump to the Console page.

3.           In the upper left corner, click

                

                and select Region.

4.           In the database category, find RDS-PostgreSQL and click to go to the RDS-PostgreSQL Console.

5.           In the menu bar of the List of Instances, select an instance and click the instance name to go to the RDS-PostgreSQL Details page.

6.           On the Instance Details page click Audit Settings and click Enable on the pop-up page.

                

Disabling Database Audits

1.           Log in to the eSurfing Cloud official website.

2.           Click Console in the upper right corner to jump to the Console page.

3.           In the upper left corner, click

                

                and select Region.

4.           In the database category, find RDS-PostgreSQL and click to go to the RDS-PostgreSQL Console.

5.           In the menu bar of the List of Instances, select an instance and click the instance name to go to the RDS-PostgreSQL Details page.

6.           On the Instance Details page click Audit Settings and click Disable on the pop-up page.

5.           In the Data Security menu bar, click Database Audit to go to the audit log page. You can switch between different instances and view the audit logs of different instances.

6.           You can filter logs based on time, database name, execution statement account number, and SQL keywords.
