RDS PostgreSQL

Restoring Instance Data by Backing up Files

2025-06-17 07:51:44

Full restoration refers to restoring the full amount of historical data to an existing instance.

Application Scenarios

RDS-PostgreSQL allows you to restore instance data to the status when the backup was created using existing automatic backup and manual backup files. The restoration time required for full restoration depends on the amount of data in the instance and the backup space storage type.

Restrictions

Currently, only restoration to the current instance is supported, rather than to other instances.

You need to make sure the machine for restoring instances has enough disk space.

Procedure

1.        Log in to the eSurfing Cloud official website.

2.        Click Console in the upper right corner to jump to the Console page.

3.        In the upper left corner, click
