Modifying an Instance Port

Application Scenarios

When you need to modify the database access port according to your business needs, go to the RDS-PostgreSQL interface for modification.

Procedure

1.        Log in to the eSurfing Cloud Portal.

2.        Click Console and select the corresponding resource pool, such as East China 1.

3.        Select RDS-PostgreSQL and click it to go to the Console Administration page.

4.        On the List of Instances page, select the first column Instance Name/Instance ID in the first column of List of Instances, click the specified instance, and go to Instance Details.

5.        On the Database Port Attribute page, click the Modify button for operation.

Restrictions and Precautions

           The modifiable range of the port is [2000-6543].

           If the instance is read-only, the read-only instance port will also be modified.

           The access ports cannot be modified separately for read-only instances.

           Modifying an instance port will restart the instance, and the instance you want to modify the port must be in a running status.

           After modifying the instance access port, modify the security group rules promptly to ensure that you can access the instance through the new port.
