Feature Overview
Before executing a DTS synchronization task, you can use the connectivity diagnostics feature to test the connectivity between a DTS worker node and a source/destination database. This helps you confirm whether the network environment aligns with requirements and whether the task can run as expected.
Procedure
The procedure to test connectivity between a data synchronization instance and a source/destination database is similar to that between a data migration instance and a source/destination database. To test connectivity, perform the following steps: 1. Log in to the DTS console. 2. Go to the Instance List page in the Data Sync module. 3. Click Configure go to the configuration page. 4. Perform connectivity testing in the Configure Source and Destination Databases step. For more information, go to DTS > User Guide > Data Migration > Connectivity Diagnostics.
