Starting a Task
After a data migration instance is configured, you can click Start Task to start a migration task.
On the Instance List page in the Data Migration module, click the ID of a Running instance to go to the Instance Management page.
On this page, click Start Task at the bottom.
In the pop-up window, click OK to start the instance task.
After you submit the task, the instance status changes to Running on the Instance List page in the Data Migration module.
Resuming a Task
After you configure a DTS task, you may pause the task when the task is running, or the task may encounter an error. At this time, the task stops running and its status changes to Not started.
After you solve the issues, you can click Start Task to resume the task.
On the Instance List page in the Data Migration module, find the instance for which you need to resume a task. Click the ID of the instance to go to the Instance Management page. Then, click Start Task. This way, DTS resumes migration from the offset at which DTS has stopped migration.
