Intranet connection

Intranet IP Address

The system provides an Intranet IP address by default.

If an application is deployed on an elastic cloud server and the elastic cloud server resides in the same region and VPC as the DDS instance, we recommend that you use an Intranet IP address to connect the DDS instance.

The security is high.

For higher transfer rates and higher security, we recommend that you migrate your application to the same virtual private cloud subnet as your DDS instance, using an Intranet connection.

Internet connection

If an application is deployed on an elastic cloud server and the elastic cloud server resides in a region different from the DDS instance, we recommend that you use an elastic IP to connect the DDS instance.

If you use a device other than eSurfing Cloud, such as a local device or a server from another cloud vendor to connect the DDS instance, we recommend that you use an elastic IP to connect the DDS instance.

The security is slightly lower.

For Internet connection, purchase an elastic IP and bind it to the DDS instance node.
