DDS storage provides multiple types of hard disks (General I/O, High I/O, General Purpose SSD, Ultra-high I/O), so that users can choose I/O according to different application scenarios.
What to do when the size of the data exceeds the maximum storage allowed by the DDS instance
Data cleaning and optimization
First, you can clean and optimize the database and delete data, indexes, logs, etc. that are no longer needed to free up storage space. This include deleting historical data, archiving data, merging shards, and other operations to reduce the storage requirements of the database.
Storage expansion
If your application requires more storage capacity than the maximum allocation, you can increase storage capacity by expanding the storage.
