In the DDS console, you can modify the database instance name after activation. in the following steps:
Go to the DDS Management Console.
Click Instance Management to go to the instance list page.
Click the name of an instance (instance ID for some resource pools) whose status is Running to go to the instance details page.
In the Basic Information tab, locate the Instance Information section, click the Modify Name button next to Instance Name. The Modify Name pop-up window is displayed.
In the Modify Name pop-up window, enter a new instance name in the New Instance Name row according to the convention of an instance name, and click OK. The database instance name is modified.
Description
Convention of an instance name: The name must be 4 to 64 characters long and start with a letter. The name is not case-sensitive and can contain letters, numbers, hyphens (-), and underscores (_). Other special characters are not allowed.
