Active-Standby Switchover of Replica Sets
You can manually switch between active and standby nodes for replica set instances in the following steps:
Go to the DDS Management Console.
Click Instance Management to go to the instance list page.
Click Instance ID of the replica set instance for which you want to execute active-standby switchover to go to the instance details page.
In the replica set instance, scroll down to the Node Information section, and manually click the Active-Standby Switchover button in the Operation column of the Secondary node. Wait until the active-standby switchover ends.
Note:
You can manually switch between active and standby nodes for the replica set instance that is running.
The database stops during active-standby switchover. Please exercise with this action.
Active-Standby Switchover of Sharded Clusters
You can manually switch between active and standby nodes for sharded cluster instances in the following steps:
Go to the DDS Management Console.
Click Instance Management to go to the instance list page.
Click Instance ID of the sharded cluster instance for which you want to execute active-standby switchover to go to the instance details page.
In the cluster instance, scroll down to the Shard List section or ConfigServer List section, and manually click the Active-Standby Switchover button in the Operation column of the Secondary node. Wait until the active-standby switchover ends.
Note:
You can manually switch between active and standby nodes for the replica set instance that is running.
The service becomes unavailable when the active-standby switchover is executed on Shard or ConfigServer. Please exercise caution with this action.
