You can create a parameter group in the DDS in the following steps:
Go to the DDS Management Console.
Click the Parameter Group Management menu on the left to go to the Parameter Group Management page.
Click Create Parameter Group to display the Create Parameter Group pop-up window.
Select and enter the necessary information, click OK. The parameter group is created.
Description
Database versions 3.4 and 4.0 are currently supported.
The name of a parameter group must be 1 to 64 characters long. The name is case-sensitive and can contain letters, numbers, hyphens (-), underscores (_) or periods. Other special characters are not allowed.
The description must not be more than 256 characters and must not contain carriage returns or special characters >! < "& '=.
