You copy parameter groups in the DDS in the following steps:
Go to the DDS Management Console.
Click the Parameter Group Management menu on the left to go to the Parameter Group Management page.
Select the parameter group you want to copy and click Copy in the Operation column.
In the Copy Parameter Group pop-up window, enter the name and description of the new parameter group and click OK. The parameter group is copied.
Description
The name of a new parameter group must be 1 to 64 characters long. The name is case-sensitive and can contain letters, numbers, hyphens (-), underscores (_) or periods. Other special characters are not allowed.
The description must not be more than 256 characters and must not contain carriage returns or special characters >! < "& '=.
