Scenario
Users can click the Error Log tab in Instance Management to view information in the error log. In this tab, information can be filtered by node name, alarm level, and time. This product displays logs in three levels: warning, error, and fatal.
Procedure
Log in to the DDS management console.
Click the Instance Management menu in Management Center to display the list of instances.
Click an instance name to go to the Basic Information page of this instance.
The Error Log tab is displayed to the right of the Basic Information page. Click the tab to go to the error log details page.
Error log that can be viewed for different instance types:
For a single-node instance, you can view the error log at the node level.
For a replica set instance, you can view the error log of all sub-node types under the replica set instance.
For a cluster instance, you can view the error log by mongos sub-nodes, sharding_shard sub-nodes, and sharding_configsvr sub-nodes.
You can select a node from the node name drop-down list to view the error log of the node.
You can also click the error level or date selection box and select a different error level or time range to view the error log.
You can click Reset to clear the filtering conditions.
