There is a small probability that a backup operation may fail. Check the backup result to ensure that the backup operation succeeds. The following shows the method to check the backup result:
Click the Backup Management tab, or click Instance Management -> Backup and Recovery to view the backup result (including automatic backup and manual backup). If the backup succeeds, the Result column displays Success. If the expected backup file is not generated successfully, the backup status bar displays Failed. You are advised to handle the problem accordingly.
Note:
By default, the DDS provides the same backup space and storage space. For example, if the storage space of the ordered instance is 100 GB, the backup space is also 100 GB. If the backup space is used up, the backup will fail. You must clean up the backup space and generate a backup again.
