Reset Account Password

You can directly modify the password of the database account in the management console.

  1. Go to the DDS Management Console.

  2. Click Management Center -> Instance Management to go to the instance list page.

  3. Select the instance for which you want to create a database account and click the instance ID of the instance to go to the instance details page.

  4. Then click Account Management to go to the account management page.

  5. Select the account for which you want to reset the password, and click Reset Password in the Operation column on the right. The Change Password pop-up window is displayed.

  6. In the Change Password pop-up window, enter the new password twice as instructed.

  7. After entering the new password, click OK in the pop-up window to reset the password of the database account.

Note:

The password must be 8 to 26 characters long and contain uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters ~!@#%^*_=+.
