Introduction to Incremental Backup
An incremental backup is one in which successive copies of the data contain only the portion that has been added or modified since the preceding backup copy was made.
Description
Before enabling the incremental backup policy, ensure that the automatic backup policy has been enabled.
The incremental backup feature is supported only in replica sets and clusters, but not in the stand-alone version.
Configuring or Enabling Increment Backup Policy
Go to the DDS Management Console.
Click Instance Management to go to the instance list page.
Click the name of an instance whose status is running to go to the instance details page.
Click to select the Backup and Recovery page, and click Modify Backup Policy to configure an increment backup policy suitable for your business.
Click OK. The automatic backup policy is complete.
