Changing CPU and Memory Specifications of Cluster Instances
You can expand Shard node and Mongos node specifications for cluster instances.
Expanding Shard Node Specification
Expand the Shard node specification for cluster instances in the following steps:
Go to the DDS Management Console.
Click Instance Management to go to the instance list page.
In the Operation column of the cluster instance for which you want to expand the Shard node specification, click More. The Shard Specification Expansion button is displayed.
Click Shard Specification Expansion to go to the Shard specification expansion page.
On the specification expansion page, select an appropriate Shard node specification as instructed and click Buy Now.
After making payment, wait for several minutes and refresh the detailed information of the instance. You can see that the Shard node is expanded in the Instance Node section.
Expanding Mongos Node Specification
Expand the Mongos node specification for cluster instances in the following steps:
Go to the DDS Management Console.
Click Instance Management to go to the instance list page.
In the Operation column of the cluster instance for which you want to expand the Mongos node specification, click More. The Mongos Specification Expansion button is displayed.
Click Mongos Specification Expansion to go to the Mongos specification expansion page.
On the specification expansion page, select an appropriate Mongos node specification as instructed and click Buy Now.
After making payment, wait for several minutes and refresh the detailed information of the instance. You can see that the Mongos node is expanded in the Instance Node section.
Changing CPU and Memory Specifications of Replica Set Instances
You can expand replica set node specification (CPU and memory) for replica set instances.
Expand the specification for multi-node replica sets in the following steps:
Go to the DDS Management Console.
Click Instance Management to go to the instance list page.
In the Operation column of the multi-node replica set instance for which you want to expand the specification, click More. The Specification Expansion button is displayed.
Click Specification Expansion to go to the specification expansion page.
On the specification expansion page, select an appropriate node specification as instructed and click Buy Now.
After making payment, wait for several minutes and refresh the detailed information of the instance. You can see that the node specifications of the multi-node replica set are expanded.
Changing CPU and Memory Specifications of Single-Node Instances
You can expand the node specification (CPU and memory) for single-node instances.
Expand the specification for single-node instances in the following steps:
Go to the DDS Management Console.
Click Instance Management to go to the instance list page.
In the Operation column of the single-node instance for which you want to expand the specification, click More. The Specification Expansion button is displayed.
Click Specification Expansion to go to the specification expansion page.
On the specification expansion page, select an appropriate node specification as instructed and click Buy Now.
After making payment, wait several minutes and refresh the detailed information of the instance. You can see that the node specifications of the stand-alone version are expanded.
