Adding Cluster Instance Nodes

You can add Mongos nodes and Shard nodes for cluster instances.

Adding Mongos Nodes

Add Mongos nodes for cluster instances in the following steps:

1. Go to the DDS Management Console.

2. Click Instance Management to go to the instance list page.

3. In the Operation column of the cluster instance for which you want to add Mongos nodes, click More. The Add Mongos button is displayed.

4. Click Add Mongos to go to the Adding Mongos Nodes page.

5. On the Adding Mongos Nodes page, select the number of Mongos nodes you need as instructed and click Buy Now.

6. After making payment, wait several minutes and refresh the detailed information of the instance. You can see that Mongos nodes are added for this cluster instance.

Adding Shard Nodes

Add Shard nodes for cluster instances in the following steps:

1. Go to the DDS Management Console.

2. Click Instance Management to go to the instance list page.

3. In the Operation column of the cluster instance for which you want to add Shard nodes, click More. The Add Shard button is displayed.

4. Click Add Shard to go to the Adding Shard Nodes page.

5. On the Adding Shard Nodes page, select the number of Shard nodes you need as instructed and click Buy Now.

6. After making payment, wait several minutes and refresh the detailed information of the instance. You can see that Shard nodes are added for this cluster instance.
