Feature Overview

HTTPS secures content delivery for CDN. It allows clients to browse content on websites more securely and effectively while accessing the content at a high speed. For information about how to enable HTTPS, see Configuring HTTPS. This section provides a guide on how to upload a certificate.

Procedure

When you upload a certificate, you need to enter a certificate alias, and the public key and private key of the certificate. Make sure that the public and private keys are in the PEM format. To upload a certificate, perform the following steps:

Log in to the CDN console.
On the Certificate page, Click Add Self-managed Certificate in the upper-right corner.
Enter a certificate alias, and the public key and private key of the certificate that you want to upload.
After you enter all information, click OK .

Parameters	Descriptions
Certificate Alias	A certificate alias is a custom certificate name that is used to facilitate certificate identification. This helps you select the correct certificate when you bind a certificate to a domain name.
Certificate Public Key (PEM)	Starting with “-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----” and ending with“-----END CERTIFICATE-----”
Certificate Private Key (PEM)	Starting with “-----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY-----” and ending with “-----END RSA PRIVATE KEY-----”

Additional Considerations

Make sure that the certificate that you upload is within its validity period.
CDN supports only certificates in the PEM format. If your certificate is not in the PEM format, convert the certificate file format to PEM.
