After enabling image processing, customers can convert the original image to a specified quality level by including a quality conversion parameter in the request URL.

Image processing is a paid service. Currently, it is in a public beta phase and there are no charges. The timing for when fees will be introduced will be announced separately.

Parameter Description and Examples

Supported original image formats: jpeg, webp (webp only supports relative quality conversion).

Parameter Name: quality.

Supported Parameter Values:

Parameter Value	Description	Range	Example
Number	A specific numerical value for absolute quality conversion. The image will be converted to the specified quality level.	0 < number < 100. If the range is exceeded, the original image will be returned. In other words, if the current quality of the image is higher than the number, it will be converted; if it is lower, no conversion will be made.	http://www.example.com/a.jpg?action=quality:80. If the original quality of a.jpg is 90, it will be converted to 80.
Number p	A specific numerical value for relative quality conversion. The final quality will be calculated by multiplying the current quality of the image by the percentage of the number.	0 < number < 100. If the range is exceeded, the original image will be returned.	http://www.example.com/a.jpg?action=quality:80p. If the original quality of a.jpg is 90, it will be converted to 72.
