Feature Overview

When a page access error occurs, the client shows a default error page, such as 404 Not Found. The default error page is not visually appealing in most cases, resulting in a poor user experience.

To improve user experience, CDN points of presence (POPs) can redirect visitors to a custom page when a specified error code appears.

Additional Considerations

This feature is only available when the client supports 302 redirects.

Procedure

Currently, this feature cannot be configured on your own. If you need to configure this feature, please contact our customer support team via hotline (852)31000000 or email global.noc@chinatelecomglobal.com. This feature can only be manually configured by the technical support team.

Please provide the following information:

Parameter	Description
Status Code	Submit a supported status code. You can customize error pages for common HTTP status codes such as 400, 403, 404, 405, 414, 416, 500, 501, 502, 503, and 504.
URL	Enter a complete URL that includes http or https. For example: http://example.ctyunabc.com/error404.html.
