Introduction

eSurfing Cloud CDN console provides a domain name classification management tool - tags and tag groups. Tags can be used to classify and manage domain names with the same attributes, and tag groups can be used to classify and manage tags with the same category attributes.

Configuration Instructions

For example, if you have many business systems (CRM, ERP, DMS, etc.), and each business system contains multiple domain names, you can use tag groups and tags to group and manage these domain names. That is, create a tag group named "Business-system" and create three tags named "CRM", "ERP", and "DMS".

Steps to Create Tags and Tag Groups

Log in to CDN console.
Click Domain Management -> Label Lists in the left-hand side menu.
On the [Label Lists] page, click [Add Tag] button in the upper right corner.
In the pop-up window, enter the tag group name, such as "Business-System". After entering "Business-System", you need to click "Business-System" displayed below to complete the creation of the tag group name.
In the pop-up window, enter the tag name. Multiple tag names are separated by semicolons, such as "CRM;ERP;DMS".
After confirmation, click [ OK ] to submit and complete the creation of the tag group named "Business-System" and the tags named "CRM, ERP, DMS".

Notes:
Tag group name: only alphanumeric characters(a-z,A-Z,0-9) and underscore( ), hyphen(-) are allowed. Can't be empty value.
Tag name: only alphanumeric characters(a-z,A-Z,0-9) and underscore( ), hyphen(-) are allowed. Multiple values should be seperated by semi-colon(;). Can't be empty value.

Delete Tags and Tag groups

If Tags and Tag groups are no longer applicable to domain name management and search, you can unbind the domain name and then delete the tags and tags groups.

In the left navigation bar, click Domain Management - Label List.
On the [Label List] page, click the label group named [Business-System] to view the label, click [Delete] next to the label named [CRM], and click [OK] on the page that is displayed to confirm deletion. Then delete the label named "CRM".
Repeat Step 2 to delete the ERP and DMS labels.
You can delete the Tag group when all the Tags under the group have been deleted.

Additional Considerations

Tags that have been bound to domain names cannot be deleted directly. You must unbind the tags from the domain names before you can delete them.
A tag group can be deleted only after all the tags in the tag group are deleted.

After tags are created, you can use the tags to perform the following operations on domain names.

Filtering domain by tags	You can use tags to filter domain names on the Domain List page so that domain names can be managed in a group manner.
Filtering data by tags	You can use tags to filter various monitoring data, such as traffic and bandwidth, for domain names of a specific type on the Usage Query and Popular Item Analysis pages in the CDN console.
