Feature Overview

When CDN retrieves the requested contents from an origin server, it includes specific HTTP headers in the origin request. The origin server can then process the request based on the information carried in the request headers. You can use this feature to override HTTP headers in origin requests to pass specific information to your origin server. This helps you meet specific business requirements. For example, you can configure the X-Forwarded-For header to pass client IP addresses to your origin server.

Procedure

Log in to the CDN console.
Go to Domain Management -> Domain List page.
On the Domain Names page, find the target domain name, and click Edit in the Actions column.
Click Back-to-origin .
Click the HTTP Request Headers tab.
Click Add .
In the dialog box that appears, input the Parameter and Value , then click OK.
Click Submit and Save.

Parameter	1. The parameter can only contain uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, underscores (_), and hyphens (-). 2. The Host request header cannot be modified in this module. If you want to modify this header, modify theOrigin Hostfield on theBack-to-originpage.
Value	1. Spaces, Chinese characters, and special characters are not supported. 2. If you want to add or modify the corresponding request header, enter a new value. 3. If you want to delete the corresponding request header, leave theValuefield empty.
