If no balance is available or an overdue payment occurs on your eSurfing Cloud account, the system sends an SMS message to remind you to add funds. If you do not settle the overdue payment within 48 hours, the CDN service is suspended.

Service Suspension

If the CDN service is suspended, eSurfing Cloud CDN resolves the CNAME domain of the corresponding accelerated domain to the address of the origin server. The status of the domain changes to Disabled in the console. If your local DNS server has cache entries that have not expired, requests are still sent to eSurfing Cloud CDN points of presence (POPs). To avoid negative impacts on your business, eSurfing Cloud CDN retains the configurations of the disabled domain in the POPs for seven days. During the seven-day period, the CDN POPs can process your requests as expected. After the seven-day period elapses, eSurfing Cloud CDN deletes the corresponding configurations from the CDN POPs. At this time, if a request is still sent to a CDN POP, the CDN POP returns the 403 status code.

Service Resumption

After an accelerated domain name is disabled, the corresponding configurations will be deleted from the CDN POPs after seven days. However, the original configuration records are still stored in the system database. You can add funds to your account, settle the overdue payment, and then enable the domain name to resume the CDN service for the domain name. To resume the CDN service, perform the following steps:

Log in to the CDN console.
Choose DomainManagement > Domain List . On the page that appears, find the target domain name that is in the Disabled state, and click Enable .
In the dialog box that appears, click Enable.
Click Confirm on the pop-up window.
