Feature Overview

The HTTP response header is an integral part of the HTTP response message, which can carry specific response header information back to the client. When the CDN node does not have cached content for a user's request, it will retrieve the content from the origin server. After receiving the request from the CDN node, the origin server will respond. To facilitate users in identifying the response information from the origin server, you can configure the HTTP response header function to override the HTTP Header information in the response message from the origin server. For example, you can rewrite the value of the Content-Type header given by origin and then pass it to the client to ensure normal parsing by the client (by rewriting, you can avoid issues with client parsing garbled text due to abnormal values in the origin server's response).

If you need to rewrite the HTTP response Header from origin, you can submit a ticket to apply for configuring the HTTP response header overriding. Based on your actual business needs, you can choose to add, modify, or delete the HTTP response headers.

Notes

The HTTP response header override function refers to the modification of the HTTP response header from the origin server after the CDN nodes receive the response. This differs from the HTTP response header function, where the modification of the HTTP response header occurs between the CDN and the origin server, while the modification of the HTTP response header occurs between the CDN edge node and the user's client. The former may affect the relevant mechanisms on the CDN node and will be responded to the user side, while the latter only affects the header that the CDN node responds to the client and has no impact on the CDN node's internal mechanisms.
If you only need to change the response headers received by the client, you can use the modify HTTP response header function. Please see: HTTP response header for more details.
To avoid affecting CDN caching, the origin HTTP response header override function does not process the following response headers: Content-Length, Content-Range, Range, Last-Modified, Etag, Cache-Control.

If you only need to delete response headers, just provide the key (header name). The key can be alphanumeric characters (a-z,A-Z,0-9), udnerscore( _ ), and hyphen(-).	Pragma。According to context, delete the Pragma given by origin.
