Feature Overview

eSurfing Cloud Content Delivery Network (CDN) supports three acceleration regions: Chinese mainland, Global, and Global (excluding Chinese mainland). Local legal and regulatory requirements vary for these acceleration regions. For more information, see Limitations.

Procedure

Log in to the CDN console.
Go to Domain Management -> Domain List page.
On the Domain List page, find the target domain name, and click Edit in the Actions column.
Click Basics .
Change the acceleration region. For example, change from Chinese mainland to Global .

Regions	Descriptions
Chinese Mainland	Selecting the Chinese Mainland means that the users around the world will access to the CDN nodes distributed in Chinese mainland. For the latest distribution of eSurfing Cloud CDN nodes, please refer toPOP Distributionfor details. Please complete the ICP filing in Chinese mainland to accelerate the domain name, and complete the public security network filing at the same time.
Global (excluding Chinese Mainland)	Selecting Global(excluding Chinese mainland) means that the users around the world will access to the CDN nodes distributed in Macao of China, Taiwan of China, Hong Kong of China and other countries and regions. For the latest distribution of eSurfing Cloud CDN nodes, please refer toPOP Distributionfor details. Because the acceleration area does not include Chinese Mainland, the ICP filing and public security network filing required by Chinese government is not mandatory required.
Global	Selecting Global means that the users around the world will access to the nearest node. Since the acceleration area includes mainland China, please complete the ICP filing in Chinese mainland first, and complete the public security network filing at the same time.

Additional Considerations

Changing acceleration regions is only available when the initial acceleration region is Global. You will not be able to change the acceleration region if the initial acceleration region is China mainland, the "Global" and "Global(exculding Chinese mainland)" options will be shown in gray on the page and not selectable.
