Scenario
To grant access to anonymous users for an object set to public read, share the object URL with them. In addition, you can choose to share an object temporarily. For more information, see Share Files.
Restriction and Limitations
• If your file is set to public read and you want other users to access it, you can directly share the file URL.
• However, if your file is set to private and you want other users to access it, you must first change the file to public read before sharing the URL.
Operation Steps
1. On the homepage of the official eSurfing Cloud website, click Console, and enter your username and password to log in to the console.
2. In the upper part of the console, click and select a region. In this example, Asia Pacific-China (Hong Kong 2) is selected.
3. Choose Storage > Zettabyte Object Storage.
4. Click the bucket name to open the overview page.
5. Click the File Management tab, select the file that you want to share, and then click More in the Operation column.
6. Choose Copy URL from the dropdown list.
7. Alternatively, click the file that you want to share to access the file details, and then click Copy URL.
8. Anonymous users can access the file using the URL.
