Scenario
Archive storage in ZOS provides robust reliability at very low costs. Data can be accessed after being unfrozen. It is suitable for scenarios where data is stored for an extended period and accessed very infrequently (approximately once per year).
Restriction and Limitations
• Unfreezing data incurs charges based on the amount of data unfrozen. After you restore an archived object, a copy is generated and stored as a Standard storage object for a specific time. The copy is invisible in the console.
• The object is billed for both Standard and Archive storage during its validity period and the copy is deleted automatically after expiration of validity.
• The duration for which a file remains unfrozen spans from 1 to 31 days.

1. On the homepage of the official eSurfing Cloud website, click Console, and enter your username and password to log in to the console.
