Other operations, such as querying bucket info, setting bucket read/write permissions, obtaining buckets and object lists, or previewing objects, may generate outflow traffic if request/response messages include a body.
To avoid unexpected outflow traffic, configure your bucket ACL carefully. For example, if a bucket ACL is set to public read, anyone (including anonymous users) can access the files, generating significant downlink traffic costs.
Some browsers may send duplicate download requests, potentially doubling traffic. To avoid browser-related traffic issues, use the SDK (see the developer documentation) for bulk downloads.
