Scenario

You can configure bucket list rules to query information about specific objects within the bucket, such as the quantity, size, storage type, and encryption status. This feature allows you to upload the generated bucket list to a specific bucket, querying information about a large number of objects and manage the objects within the bucket.

Restriction and Limitations

· The source bucket and destination target can be the same one.

· This feature is currently supported on Asia Pacific-China (Hong Kong 2) and Asia Pacific-Singapore 4 nodes. To use this feature, submit a ticket to apply for the necessary permissions. We plan to expand to other regions to support this feature.

Operation Steps

On the homepage of the official eSurfing Cloud website, click Console , and enter your username and password to log in to the console.
In the upper part of the console, click and select a region. In this example, Asia Pacific-China (Hong Kong 2) is selected.
Choose Storage > Zettabyte Object Storage .
Select the Basic Setting tab, and click Setting in the Bucket List section.
In the Bucket List section, click C reate Rules . In the dialog box that appears, configure parameters. The following table describes the parameters.

Bucket List Rule Configuration Description

Parameter	Description
Bucket List Rule Name	This parameter is required. The name must not duplicate existing ones within the bucket, nor can it start or end with a hyphen (-). It can only consist of lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens (-).
Status	Select whether to enable or disable the rule.
List Target Bucket	Select the bucket where the generated list file will be stored. The bucket must be located in the same region.
List Storage Path	The path format is "root directory/list file storage path/source bucket name/list rule name". This is an input field. Restrictions include: 1. The path cannot contain consecutive slashes (/). 2. The path cannot start with a slash (/) or backslash ().
List Generation Cycle	Select whether the list is generated every day or every week.
Filter by Prefix	Enter the prefix to filter the files affected by the list. If left empty, the list is generated for all files within the bucket.
Object Version	SelectC**urrent VersionorA ll Versions**.
Optional Information	Multiple values can be selected, includingO bject Size/ L ast Modified Time/ S torage Type/ETag/ F ragmented Upload Status.

Select I acknowledge and agree to grant permission to access the resources in the bucket for eSurfing Cloud Zettabyte Object Storage .
Click OK to complete the creation.
