Applicable Scenarios

• When versioning is enable, deleted files or folders are retained as historical versions rather than being immediately erased, allowing for restoration.

• Restoring a version makes it the latest version of the file.

Before You Begin

Versioning is enabled. For more information, see Configure Versioning.

Constraints

An archived file must be unfrozen before being restored.

Limitations

• During the restoring process of files in Archive storage, you cannot suspend or delete the restoring task.

• After unfreezing an archived object, a copy is generated and stored as a Standard storage object. The object has both a Standard storage copy and Archive storage copy. After an archived object is unfrozen, the status of the object is unfrozen and the Standard storage copy is not displayed in the bucket.

• The object is billed for both Standard and Archive storage during the validity period. The Standard storage copy is deleted automatically after expiration of validity.
