You can access and manage ZOS using one of the following approaches:

  • Console: Log in to the website console to manage your ZOS services. In the console, you can create buckets, upload or download files, set access permissions, and manage objects within buckets with ease and intuition. For more information, see Access ZOS via Console.

  • ZOSBrowser: As a desktop application for ZOS, ZOSBrowser empowers you to connect to ZOS using S3 interfaces, specifically designed for Windows users. Compared with SDK,      ZOSBrowser offers graphical user interfaces, making operations more efficient, easier, and convenient. For more information, see ZOSBrowser User Guide.

  • S3Browser: It is a free Windows client tool that supports the S3 interface. For more information, see S3Browser.

  • SDK: It is a tool package that encapsulates REST APIs of ZOS, aiming to streamline development tasks. You can directly call the API functions from the SDK to utilize the service  capabilities of ZOS. For more information, see SDK Reference.

  • API: eSurfing Cloud ZOS provides an HTTP API utilizing JSON data exchange format. You can call this API to send HTTPS request and receive HTTPS responses to interact with the ZOS      backend. Using a different data transmission framework, this approach provides APIs independent from the SDK, such as enabling API and data statistics API, to enable more management operations. Direct uploading and downloading of objects is a distinctive function of the SDK approach. For more information, see API Reference.
