AK and SK serve as the credentials for accessing ZOS, through which your resource requests are authenticated.

AK/SK Types

• AK/SK for accessing eSurfing Cloud: This type of AK/SK cannot be reset.

• AK/SK for accessing ZOS: This type of AK/SK can be reset. After the AK/SK is reset, ZOS deletes the original AK/SK and generates new ones. The original AK/SK become invalid and cannot be restored.

Scenario

To access ZOS through the API, you must first acquire the AK/SK for eSurfing Cloud access, which are then utilized for authentication purposes.

If you choose to access ZOS using a client or SDK, you must first obtain the AK and SK for authentication.

Note:

Leaking AK/SK could result in data exposure. Keep them with caution.

Operation Steps

Obtaining AK/SK for eSurfing Cloud Access

On the homepage of the official eSurfing Cloud website, click Log In , and enter your username and password to log in.
In the upper-right corner, choose My > Account Center .
In the left-side navigation tree, choose Basic Information .
In the Basic Information page, click New in the User AccessKey section to create AK/SK. After AK/SK is created, New becomes View in the User AccessKey section. You can query and replicate the AK/SK.

Obtaining AK/SK for ZOS Access

After activating ZOS, you can query and reset the AK/SK for ZOS access by clicking Access Key Management in the ZOS console.
